OVERVIEW

Leverage : Balance

Like the best luxury sports sedans, the Cessna Citation Mustang is about balance. Jet-powered cruise at up to 340 knots while achieving greater fuel economy than a turboprop. Carrying four passengers with bags, while still flying from Phoenix to Minneapolis non-stop. An airy, comfortable and quiet automotive-inspired cabin, while remaining the least expensive private jet in production. The Mustang is all these things - an amazing value in the private aircraft landscape that will surely gain your attention.

DESIGN

In a class all its own. Literally.

Drawn from the ground-up to be a game changer, the Mustang is not only built of trusted and reliable components such as mechanical controls and single-piece aluminum wing spars familiar to the Citation jet line, it's also packed with state-of-the-art design, engineering and technology enhancements typically reserved for jets at multiples in price. Discover why it has succeeded as the only Very Light Jet in consistent production:

Exterior:

With clean, purposeful lines the Mustang cuts an instantly identifiable silhouette on the ramp. A Low profile fuselage with large cabin windows, lightly swept wings, and high T-tail set it apart as member of the Cessna CitationJet family, drawing on a 40 year production history and sterling reputation.

Interior:

Three features of the Mustang's cabin design set it apart from its competition. First is a slightly out-of-round cross-section enhancing width to 4'7" throughout. Next, wing supports pass beneath the cabin, instead of through it, increasing leg-room. Finally, a dropped center isle increases height to 4'6" throughout the seating area. These important characteristics, combined with large club-configured chairs covered in soft leather, two retractable executive tables, power supplies, a curtained lavatory and ample storage for snacks and beverages, ensures the Mustang is a perfect environment to enjoy the trip.

PERFORMANCE

Jet Set.

With two efficient jet engines from iconic maker Pratt&Whitney producing nearly 3,000 pounds of thrust combined, the Mustang has the power on hand to operate from thousands of small airports around the country, even at max weight.

Once airborne, that power translates to cruise at up to 41,000 feet, taking you above the weather and turbulence to your destination at up to 390 miles per hour. Speed isn't everything, though; the mustang offers faster cruise performance, with better fuel economy, than any turboprop aircraft.

COSTS

It's simple...the numbers speak for themselves:

Ownership of a Mustang jet with FLTSHARES starts at a groundbreaking $171,000 for 1/16 share providing 25 annual flight hours.

Unique to FLTSHARES is our commitment to finding the right share size for your needs, not the other way around. Various levels are available up to whole ownership, with most owners falling somewhere between 1/8th and 1/2 ownership, providing 75 to 300 annual flight hours and limiting the number of total owners to between three and six per aircraft. To further enhance availability, we limit the number of sole 1/16th and 1/12th shares per aircraft.

cessna-citation-mustang-shared-ownership-by-pilotsharesThe financial case for shared ownership is an easy one to make.

Besides a dramatically lower acquisition cost, shared ownership utilizes the available 300 to 400 hours left unused by a typical whole owner each year, dispersing operating costs. Compare a whole owner's use to its FLTshares equivalent and the numbers, well, speak for themselves!

At 150hrs Per Year (All-In)
You Save:
Acquisition Cost Savings $1,951,000
Operating Cost Savings /Yr $195,000

These example FLTshare costs are all-inclusive best-estimates, considering average market rates for a 2008 model aircraft and its associated operating costs at 600 hours per year, including average regional fuel prices as of 1/15/10 ($4.81/gal). It's clear that even at whole-ownership use levels, FLTshares ownership significantly reduces your costs while eliminating the hassles of aircraft ownership.
