Cirrus SR22 GTS Turbo Shared Ownership |
|
Safety, technology, efficiency and value no other light aircraft can touch.
OVERVIEWThe student becomes the master. Prized by pilots for its speed, comfort and value, the SR22 revolutionized light aircraft a decade ago with a host of safety, technology and power enhancements that still has other manufacturers scrambling to match. It's the consummate cross-country aircraft, replacing a slew of piston singles and twins that we've considered our only option for long-distance performance. The SR22 is the perfect balance between cost and capability. Starting around $49,000 for 1/16th ownership, we think you'll agree.
DESIGNCarbon Fiber, Leather and Power. Perfection. It's truly a beautiful thing, but even more, the SR22 converges engineering brilliance, technological superiority and modern design into a safety-focused personal aircraft that has launched it above all others in sales.
Exterior: Built of carbon composite for immense strength and minimal weight, the SR22 stands out as a sleek, sophisticated performer in flight and on the ramp. This material also minimizes air drag in flight, aiding in the Cirrus's quick cruise speeds and high payload. Fixed landing gear also reduce weight and complexity by removing heavy hydraulic equipment. Up front, an advanced twin-turbocharged engine produces maximum power all the way to cruise altitude, allowing 20-55 mph increases in cruise over a standard SR22. Of course, the renowned CAPS system is also standing by. With a pull of a handle, anyone can jettison a whole-aircraft parachute, safely bringing the airplane to earth in case of a severe emergency or pilot incapacitation. Its safety found standard only on a Cirrus. Interior: Surprisingly roomy, even with four adults, the comfortable, leather upholstered seats are even to task enhancing safety with energy absorbing structures and airbag-equipped belts. In fact, the entire cabin structure is a carbon fiber roll cage built to absorb energy and protect its occupants. None of this will be in thought, however, as you gaze through large passenger windows that put you right in the action as you quietly leap over traffic and terrain, guided by flight and navigation systems surpassing most airliners. You'll be amazed every time you fly. A highly-tuned machine built to burn miles while sipping fuel, you won't find a better value for regional travel than the SR22T. PERFORMANCEMany claim to be 'state-of-the-art,' the Cirrus SR22 Turbo lives by it. The majority of piston powered aircraft were designed mid-century and continue their storied tradition to this day with nothing but minor improvements. Fair enough, but what of the great strides we've made in in the last three decades? Certified in 2000, the SR22 was built to preform from day one, utilizing the latest thinking, materials and technologies. Refitting a factory turbo, however, turned an athlete into a superhero. Far simpler in operation than turbo systems of the past, this Turbocharged engine maintains maximum boost all the way to cruise altitude, increasing speeds 20 to 50 kts on only four more gallons of fuel per hour than a standard SR22. It's serious bang for the buck.
COSTSIt's simple...the numbers speak for themselves: Ownership of a new Cirrus SR22T with FLTSHARES starts around $53,000 for 1/16th share providing 25 annual flight hours. Unique to FLTSHARES is our commitment to finding the right share size for your needs, not the other way around. Various levels are available up to whole ownership, in 25 hour increments. While 1/16th and 1/12th shares meet the needs of occasional travelers, most owners fall somewhere between 1/8th and 3/8th ownership, providing 75 to 225 annual flight hours and limiting the number of total owners to between four and eight per aircraft. To further enhance availability, we limit the number of sole 1/16th and 1/12th shares per aircraft, so contact us as early as possible to take advantage of these levels.
Besides a dramatically lower acquisition cost, shared ownership utilizes the 300 to 400 hours otherwise left unused by a typical whole owner. Compare such an owner's annual use to an equivalent FLTSHARES ownership level, and the numbers, well, speak for themselves!
Even at whole-ownership use levels, it's clear that FLTSHARES ownership significantly reduces your costs, while eliminating the hassles of aircraft ownership! Call us today to discuss options in this remarkable aircraft.
